Storyline:

The Great American Broadcast (1941)
After WWI two men go into radio. Failure leads the wife of one to borrow money from another; she goes on, after separation, to stardom. A coast-to-coast radio program is set up to bring everyone back together.

Four Jills in a Jeep (1944)
Francis, Landis, Raye and Mayfair reenact their own true-life experiences entertaining the troops overseas during World War II, making for musical patriotism - and a little romance added for poetic license. Jimmy Dorsey and his orchestra are on hand to back up the ladies.

Rose of Washington Square (1939)
New York city in the 1920s: a singer struggles to keep her boyfriend from trouble. When she makes it to Ziegfeld, he heads for five years in jail. Lots of Faye and Jolson singing. The story is so close to the true story of Fanny Brice and Nicky Arnstein (Jules W. Arndt Stein) that he sued the studio in a case that was quickly settled out of court in his favor.

Hollywood Cavalcade (1939)
Michael Linnett Connors takes Molly Adair from Broadway understudy to 1913 Hollywood star. Although she is in love with him, she marries her co-star reckoning wrongly Connors thinks of her only in terms of movies. He fires her in pique, apparently terminally damaging his career.

Hello Frisco, Hello (1943)
Set in San Francisco's Barbary Coast this 1943 romantic musical features a love triangle in which Faye is a singer hired by boorish saloon owner Payne. She develops a crush on him but he's interested in a society girl. Academy Award nominated for Best Color Cinematography and winner for Best Song ("You'll Never Know").
