The continuing adventures of the very cool Chili Palmer, strong-arm debt collector turned Hollywood movie producer. By the time the story begins, Chili has abandoned the fickle movie industry as he doesn't consider it cool anymore. And so his adventures, this time around, concern the music industry where he be-comes the promoter of a struggling singer who is being pursued by the Russian mafia, which is not so cool.
When Chili Palmer decides to try his hand in the music industry, he romances the sultry widow of a recently whacked music exec and cool-as-you-like poaches a hot young singer from a rival label and discovers that the record industry is packin' a whole lot more than cool tunes. |
