Storyline:

The Band Wagon: In this Vincente Minnelli-directed backstager, Fred Astaire dazzles in numbers set in a train station (By Myself), a penny arcade (A Shine on Your Shoes), a backlot Central Park (Dancing in the Dark) and a smoky café (Girl Hunt), the latter two with the incomparable Cyd Charisse. And when he, Nanette Fabray and Jack Buchanan play infants who "hate each other very much!" in the merry Triplets, it's one more reason to love this movie very, very much.

Bells are Ringing: An answering-service operator (Judy Holliday) falls in love with the man she's known only as a voice on the telephone. Dean Martin and Jean Stapleton co-star.

Brigadoon: Gene Kelly, Van Johnson and Cyd Charisse recapture the charm and beauty of the 18th-Century Scottish Highlands in this enchanting fantasy of music, dance and romance.

Easter Parade: Starring Judy Garland and Fred Astaire, Easter Parade is one of the brightest, cheeriest musicals ever made and features 17 Irving Berlin tunes and an Academy Award®-winning adaptation score. Strolling along 5th Avenue or going on the bum as A Couple of Swells Judy Garland and Fred Astaire lead a parade of music and gotta-dance fun (including Astaire's Drum Crazy) in this never-ending delight co-starring Ann Miller (performing a knockout Shaking the Blues Away), and Peter Lawford (gamely crooning The Fella with the Umbrella with Garland).

Finian's Rainbow: Musical morality tale about prejudice directed by Francis Ford Copolla and starring Fred Astaire. Based on a Broadway show from the late 40's. Astaire plays an Irishman who's moved to a small southern town. His plan is to bury a leprechaun's pot of gold that he's brought with him - so that it will grow faster. But his plans go awry when his daughter makes the wrong wish while Astaire stands over the magical pot.
