Storyline:

Carla Tate is a slightly mentally challenged young woman with dreams and ambitions, who falls in love for the first time. However, her family is at first reluctant to accept her new boyfriend, Danny.

Juliette Lewis and Giovanni Ribisi perform admirably as developmentally different young adults who meet and fall in love.
