One of the most beloved and critically-acclaimed television series of all time, CHEERS ran for 10 seasons and centered on the colorful staff and patrons of the Boston bar "where everyone knows your name." Run by former Red Sox pitcher and ladies' man Sam Malone (Ted Danson), the establishment's ever-present characters include salty barmaid Carla (Rhea Perlman), flighty bartender Coach (Nicholas Colasanto), barflies Norm (George Wendt) and Cliff (John Ratzenberger), and, of course, Sam's love interest/nemesis Diane Chambers (Shelley Long).
This collection includes all 22 episodes from the beloved series' debut season.

Sam gets a phonecall from an old baseball friend, Rick Walker, who has been having a lousy season. He wonders what he should do, and Sam tries to help but can't think of what to do. He suggests getting a lucky charm, and Coach says that Sam used to have one. It turns out Sam still does - a bottle cap, which he says he found. Sam lends Rick the cap and Rick's performance improves greatly - whilst Sam goes through a period of very bad luck. When Sam find out that Rick lost the bottle cap, he gets depressed, as Diane finds out that it was in fact the cap off the last bottle of beer Sam ever drank.
11. One for the Book
